Viator's Project X: Marketing Modules
As an effort to add more human touch to improve the User Experience on Viator's website, me and my team experimented various layouts, copy, shapes, formats and sizes to show featured tours and activities that were recommended by Viator's Insiders (local experts). Followings are the last few rounds of mockups. We chose the first two mockups and ran multiple usability testing sessions and AB testing, and we found out the design was not as effective as we expected and in order to fix the issue we had to redesign the whole website and not just one section of it.
